I would imagine that they are aiming for something with reasonably
easy-to-remember identifiers (and less anonymity), as well as something where
you could relatively easily sync your inbox between devices, at least as an
option.
I'd say join the list (or approach them directly) and post your ideas if you
feel that you can contribute, though. They've got the names, media attention
and marketing to get _something_ rolling which is better than the status quo.
Best make it as good as possible.
