I am not suggesting this was the intonation of Fabio's comments, but let me
preempt an idea that is bound to come up again -- *please* let's not DDoS
anything inside of Iran, even if conducted from the inside. The
infrastructure of the country is already poorly run and hindered by access
to technology as it is, the network stress of such activities only
compounds the problem. During the day, packet loss appears to be as high as
20% at times, and throughput is half of the night. Application-layer
attacks are cute, but the last thing that is needed is a bunch of anons
running LOIC again.
