Dear all - I have just been contacted by an NGO in Uttarakhand (supporting
local government) and have been asked to *come up with an app to trace/and
then monitor all pregnant women due for delivery in the next 3 months* and
map them with these basic indicators :

1. Road still available to reach health facility.
2. Road available to reach to sub-centre.
3. ANM (nurse) available at sub-centre.
4. Medicine available at sub-centre/nearest hospital.
5. Drinking water availability.
6. Food availability

Key objective is to identify the overall status (quickly) and then focus on
the areas which needs to be reached on priority. *All the indicators can be
attributed to village* (i.e. we need not have to get all indicators for
each pregnant women) and also we have a voluntary health worker in each
village who has this information (called ASHA). Thus we aim to get data
from her and then mine the data to come up with actionable information.

I could see an instant fit of the Ushahidi (
http://www.ushahidi.com/products/ushahidi-platform) for the purpose:

*I shall be personally working on the tool but need support from fellow
member who can help/guide me to customise and build an app in the next 10
days.*

Thanks again for considering to support and also if you have any better
idea to address the issue, kindly share.

warm regards,
girdhari
