Hi John,
Apologies if my comment sound insulting. It was not meant to be, more just matter-of-fact - I had no knowledge of how secure/insecure your service was, and therefore didn't want to sound like I had any assurances.
I was going for healthy skepticism as opposed to disbelief. Not sure if I succeeded.
IMO everyone should run their own Jabber server at home. It'd not that difficult.
