It's instructive to play the video of Moglen's talk with O'Reilly,
but if you're pressed for time just read the first sentence of the last
paragraph of O'Reilly's response in which he casually tosses off a
criticism of the Free Software movement for focusing on software
instead of... wait for it... freedom!
That's right, Mr. Open Source thinks the FSF needs
to focus more on promoting a concept which he himself literally and
purposely removed from his own vocabulary when describing
software.
A nasty tone in response to that kind of nonsense may or may not
be effective, but it certainly isn't vapid. (And neither is Moglen's
explanation of what O'Reilly has been avoiding in his discourse for
the past decade.)
