We are writing to invite you to provide input to the following UN
Sustainable Development activities:

*UN Global Sustainable Development Report (1st edition- September 2013)*

We would like to invite you to participate in a crowd-sourcing exercise to
collectively shape messages for the first edition of the UN Global
Sustainable Development Report. We encourage you to contribute your ideas
through the UN website under the "Your ideas" tab at the following link:
http://sustainabledevelopment.un.org/globalsdreport or by following direct
links in the attached PDF file. At this point, English language inputs can
be made for all of the chapters, except the final section on overall
recommendations which will be opened in due course. Chinese, Spanish and
French language versions are presently being prepared and should be
available soon

*Please note we have been advised the UN Website works best with Microsoft
Internet Explorer. If you use Chrome or Safari browsers (mobile device), it
is suggested to use the direct links in the attached PDF file instead. *

 *High Level Political Forum on sustainable development*

We have also received a request for selected papers on the "science-policy
interface" as input from the scientific community on how to organize this
interface in the context of the High-Level Political Forum. Should you wish
to forward papers or links, please send to both orla at worldsocialscience org
and vivien.lee at icsu.org
