[liberationtech] advice on securing a new computer

Sam, A user friendly alternative to CloudFogger will be Boxcryptor (
https://www.boxcryptor.com/).

My guess is that all of them are based upon EncFS anyway. You can use a
version of it meant for Windows that I have personally tried out on Windows
and used it on a day-to-day basis. That said, please test it out with a
couple of files that you have original unencrypted copies of until you are
confident with it.
