Fabio,
Its a nice dream, but, for example, Iraqis were still broadly using
internet explorer 6.0 in 2009/10! I've not done a recent survey, but its
certainly going to be a long battle to upgrade machines and software in
many many parts of the world.
WebRTC will be amazing, but its likely a long long time out for much of the
world. Unless we are talking mobile as primary access tool, in which case
fast iteration and distribution will help, however Nokia candy bars are
still likely the most ubiquitous mobile device.
