Too funny to pass by: “This case study of a convicted pedophile
("James") in England focuses on the links between his "thinking and
doing," i.e., the interaction of his fantasy life, his use of the
Internet, and his contact offenses against children.” That's some
impressive conclusion from a single case study — social sciences never
cease to surprise.

Somehow I doubt this sociology professor understands what empirical
evidence is. Her Wikipedia summary certainly suggests that she
doesn't.

Does her tenure depend on ability to scaremonger people or something?
I doubt that's the kind of porn kids are after. They most likely view
mostly vanilla porn, and people living in passive-aggressive societies
who are bored with their fat wives go after the hardcore variety.
