I agree, though it is still interesting to study. One of the activists
told me that what they are doing is focusing on using the Internet to
raise awareness of and get international support for their cause.  If
some transnational organizations step in to help them, you could
easily imagine how they could have the kind of impact the Zapatistas
once had, at a time when the Internet penetration in Mexico was also
pretty low:
