This particular sub-thread is about the technical aspects of this block.
Such technical aspects are relevant both to liberationtech and to NANOG.

I'm in favor of libtech maintaining a political bent.  That is part of
its list charter.

I'm not in favor of libtech's political bent leaking onto NANOG.  That
is not part of the NANOG charter.

There's an intersection of interests in this particular scenario, and I
was attempting to craft an intersectional discussion.

However, both lists are subscriber-only, so my attempt is a failure.
(And in retrospect was probably misguided, neither audience is
especially willing to meet the other halfway.)
