The Bundestag cross-partisan resolution on software patenting finally
surfaced: Core concern is an overlap with copyright protection. As a
joint resolution it is backed by governing and opposing Parliament
groups, with the fringe left party kept out of the loop. After yesterday
nights first plenary reading the resolution would be further discussed
in Committee.
