Leaving a complete answer to Nadim, in future CryptoCat Server maybe
also available as an Portable Applications for Windows, OSX and Linux
that can be easily setup on your own Tor Hidden Service (
https://github.com/kaepora/cryptocat/issues/81 ) .

This could be done with APAF, the same anonymous python application
framework of GlobaLeaks 0.2 https://github.com/globaleaks/APAF .
