Hi everyone,

I trust you all are well.

I wanted to inform you that this weekend I am participating in SocEnt
Weekend <http://www.socentweekend.org/> in Seattle where I will pitch an
idea that is very inportant to me, to create a Kabissa Open Data Directory
for Africa, and am hopeful to be chosen as one of the ideas that will be
the focus of the weekend. It very much relates to the work Kabissa has been
doing over the years to support African civil society on the Internet, and
our interest in the last year or two to go open data.

If we are chosen, I'll let you know! If we are chosen we will be working
hard on the project over the weekend, so let me know if you are interested
in pitching in during the weekend or are interested in helping make it
happen generally.
