at all acceptable?

There are both Americans and citizens of other countries on this list who may not care about the American elections, but chances are, not only do they care, they were rooting for Obama. It's that kind of demographic. I'll bet a larger percent of this list went out and voted this time than before.

Candidates don't have to be acceptable for you to vote for them -- because there are only two to choose from.

I have no doubt in my mind that the majority of people on this list, given the choice and the mandate to chose one of the two, would not choose Romney.

The question is whether you can get them to rise above their partisan feelings and examine what it means for software of this nature to fail in such a spectacular way on such a day, and not explain it away as "Microsoft" or "Mittens is stupid in science and math" or whatever.

To remain curious.
