We wanted to let you know of a program coming up on May 21st in San Jose
that students focused on technology and the law might be interested in.
Projected to be the first floating city in international waters, the
Blueseed project is dedicated to harvesting entrepreneurship by creating a
place where the world’s top tech minds can collaborate. According to a
report just published by Blueseed, almost 150 companies polled said they’d
be interested in setting up shop. VentureBeat and The Huffington Post say
the project is “gaining steam” and companies might flock to participate in
what could prove to be a haven for tech innovation. Don’t miss the chance
to hear from CEO Max Marty and others, find out what’s keeping the project
afloat and what challenges may lay ahead.

the coast of Northern California, residents would not be subject to work
visa limitations. Called the “Googleplex of the Sea,” The Blueseed Project
is awakening a host of complex issues including immigration policy, visa
limitations, international policy, social entrepreneurship and more.
