Hi Karen,
You may know of the collaborative doc called "While We Watch" about OWS-- they have some short films on their website you might use-- or contact their distributor. (I haven't seen it except in case study presentations.). You can also contact Priscilla Grim, editor of the OWS Journal, who will have suggestions for video and short docs.
On the other side of the spectrum, try The Billionaire's Tea Party, which is streaming free. (Haven't seen it either.) Hardball had a short doc from 2009. And there is "Fire from the Heartland" about the movement of conservative women to "reclaim" America-- whatever that means. I've seen parts of that and it is horrifying. (Apologies to anyone on this list who leans right, though I can't imagine who that would be.)
