Jillian) - The suggestion that these problems cant be had in the
developing world. Such a problem could easily obtain in any country in
the developing world or third world, or whatever world.

Here is another First World Internet Freedom problem, it is called
censorship. From Google's latest transparency report which monitors
takedown requests:

"It’s alarming not only because free expression is at risk, but
because some of these requests come from countries you might not
suspect—Western democracies not typically associated with censorship."

"First World" countries US and Germany are number 2 and 3 on the list.
