Over here at Idealware, we're kicking off a project looking at how global
development organizations are using mobile technology for fundraising and
marketing. We'll be taking a case-study approach, interviewing about five
U.S. based global development organizations and compiling their stories,
along with the themes that emerge into a PDF report. We're excited to take
a closer look at how specific organizations are using mobile technologies
and share their stories with our national audience.
Do you know of U.S. based global development organizations that are doing
interesting things in the world of mobile communications or fundraising who
might be willing to share what they're doing? Or are you with a global
development organization that has dipped a toe into the mobile waters? It
would be some nice national publicity for you... Let us know! We're
actively look for small as well as larger nonprofits, and more minimal
mobile projects as well as big resource-intensive ones.
If you have a lead, or would be willing to spare 45 minutes to talk
yourself, drop an email to Andy Gleason, who's leading up the project on
our end (copied here; andy at idealware.org)
