I was thinking more in a mobile/3G environment, and in that case, we've
found that NAT traversal is difficult, if not impossible.

This is why with our work on secure telephony (OSTN aka
https://OSTel.me) we are doing RTP media proxying 100% of the time,
which has its downsides as well obviously.
