We're accepting applications for the next round of the *African Leadership
in ICT Course* and we're trying to spread the word far and wide. The course
is free and aimed at middle to senior management in ministries and public
organisations (including universities) across several African countries.
Only participants from certain SSA countries can apply but I've included
all of that information below in the post. It's a wonderful opportunity for
free professional development of the highest standard and it's an AUC
programme funded by Finland and implemented by GESCI. I'm also attaching a
brochure on the course which you may be able to include or not. See the
info below:

An African Union course, funded by the Ministry for Foreign Affairs of
Finland and implemented by GESCI (Founded by the UN ICT Task Force)
*We are accepting applications for the second round of ALICT:*
- Closing date for applications August 1st 2012
- Course commences October 2012
- Course concludes May 2013
- ALICT is a blended learning course for full-time working professionals
- ALICT combines online, offline and applied learning
- **No fees required**
- Applications will only be accepted from citizens of the following
countries: Mozambique, Rwanda, Uganda, Malawi, Namibia, Ethiopia and
Botswana.
