Dear friends and colleagues,
as you might have heard we are updating the Security in-a-box content.
one part of the process is to review the already existing content. we
are looking for your help in read-through of the How-to Booklet chapters
(preferably all or any).
There are 10 How-to Booklet chapters currently online plus a Glossary:
1. How to protect your computer from malware & hackers
2. How to protect your information from physical threats
3. How to create and maintain secure passwords
4. How to protect the sensitive files on your computer
5. How to recover from information loss
6. How to destroy sensitive information
7. How to keep your Internet communication private
8. how to remain anonymous and bypass censorship on the Internet
9. How to use mobile phones as securely as possible
10. How to protect yourself and your data when using social networking sites

If you are the one to review content, the next steps would be:
step 1) let us know which of the chapters you like to review.
step 2) provide your comments. it can be overall comments for each
chapter of what you would like to see changed in the chapter. but we
would benefit more from specific comments of what exactly you would
propose to change with your proposed wording of new content.
deliver it to the editor's team as input for the revision of chapters.
you can send it to us in whatever format you would like (hard copy,
electronic document, email, fax, etc.)
We will provide remuneration for the costs associated for this activity to the extent possible.
We would attribute the organizations or individuals contributing to the
review process.
The deadline for reviewing the content is the 20th of Feb. 2012.
Please get in contact! We are looking forward to your help and
collaboration!
Looking forward hearing from you
Cheers from Berlin
Diana
If you aren't in a position to review the chapters, but can recommend
others who would, please introduce us.
