*Interested in acting and human rights? Ever wondered what it’s like to be
the subject of a major human rights fact-finding mission?*
The International Human Rights and Conflict Resolution Clinic at Stanford
Law School is staging a simulated human rights fact-finding mission in
Hidden Villa Farm in Los Altos Hills on *Friday, January 20th, from
1:00pm-6:00pm *(expected departure and return times from Stanford Campus)*.
*
The purpose of the simulation is to teach law students in the clinic how to
conduct themselves in the field while gathering information about alleged
human rights abuses. We are looking for actors to play various roles in
the simulation – victims of human trafficking, overwhelmed UN officials,
corrupt politicians, soldiers, civilian bystanders, etc. – and to provide
us and our students with critical feedback about interviewing strategies
you observed as being either effective or ineffective. Transportation,
light snacks, and refreshments will be supplied. If interested, please
contact *Natalie Goodis *at *njgoodis at law.stanford.edu.*
