The Liberation Technology Program is starting a major project on combating
corruption in India (for details see:
http://viveks.info/from-fractions-to-millions-getting-more-people-to-challenge-corruption-using-mobile-phones).
I am looking for someone to provide coding support for the project. At
this point we are looking for someone who could scrape information from
certain websites and deliver them to an SMS gateway. One platform we are
considering is TxtWeb (http://www.txtweb.com). Working knowledge of
Javascripts, PhP, XML and previous engagement with SMS gateways would be a
great plus. If you know of anyone who would be interested, please let me
know (vivekdse at stanford.edu). We will pay the standard hourly rates for
Stanford students and we are looking for someone to start immediately and
work about 10 hours a week for the next month or two.

I'll be happy to discuss the project at greater length when I get an email.

Thank you,

Vivek
