[liberationtech] Research on security issues in Sudan?

Hi all,

We've recently been asked to develop a program for training/equipping
journalists in Sudan, and I'm very concerned about how to mitigate security
risks due to monitoring, both online and offline. Since I have no direct
experience in Sudan, I'm hoping individuals on this list might be able to
provide a little direction?
