[liberationtech] What governments have programs/initiatives/funds to support "net activism"?

Hi Muzammil,

I've found this a little trickier to have specific categories in this area
in the past, but some countries include:

   - Sweden (http://t.co/9AWoPVW)
   - Netherlands (

   - UN Democracy Fund (http://www.un.org/democracyfund/)
   - European Instrument for Democracy and Human Rights (

   )

Ireland, who recently took over the chairmanship for OSCE has expressed
that Internet Freedom will be a priority, and it is possible that effort
could include net activism (

)

This list is by no mean exhaustive, and there have been a number of funding
sources that have supported freedom of expression efforts over the years
(including Canada and Norway). I would be curious on learning what
countries I am missing.
