I remember that I was quite a bit annoyed by their defaitism. In
particular, both underestimated the possible access to ongoing
legislative procedures. Later they corrected their narrative and
expressed trust in national High Courts. Yet, when it is quite easy to
solve a problem at its roots, European legislation, it is helpful get
more involved at this stage.
