[liberationtech] Announcing finalists (and soon winners) for the Access Tech Innovation Prize

Hi everybody,
Just wanted to let you know that the Access Tech Innovation Prize awards
ceremony was held on Monday night. I was delighted to be able to meet
and talk to many of those who attended. In case you missed the live
tweets of the results, here are the winners:
Blackout Resilience Award went to Briar
Making Crypto Easy Award went to the LEAP Encryption Access Project
Freedom of Expression Award went to Open Observatory of Network
Interference (OONI)
Grassroots Technology Award went to the Flashproxy Facebook app from the
Open Technology Institute (OTI)
The Facebook Award was split among all four finalists: Social Media for
Democracy, Map Kibera Trust, BigWebNoise, and Seven Sisters Social Project
