[liberationtech] Online Privacy and Threats in Social Media research study

Good day to you all. 
My name is Phillip Nyoni, a Masters in Computer Science student at the North West University of South Africa.  I am writing to you in connection with a study I am carrying out concerning online privacy in social media. I am looking for suggestions on how to go about collecting data on this topic, as well as any ideas on how I can approach this study. I am thinking of creating a conceptual framework to assess certain variables of user behavior on Facebook and am looking for any example frameworks that can act as a guide as I create my own.
