Hi Liberationtech Folks,
We've got a neat online certificate course coming up on digital organizing,
open data, good governance and tech. It starts in two weeks (May 14th).
We've already got an amazing group of participants assembled from over 15
countries but we've got a few spots left.
The full four-week course description is below. We'll have a unit on Syria
and we'll be joined by folks from Amnesty International. Among other
topics, we'll also look at the role of Ushahidi and other mapping platforms
for good governance and Brian Conley from Small World News will talk about
information security as a citizen journalist. We're also looking for a few
additional moderators to support our learning so let us know if you're
interested in being involved and we can send you more information. Any
suggestions for topics are also welcome. If you include "Liberation" as a
coupon code then you'll get 200 dollars off listed price of $595 for a
total of $395. Apply now: http://techchange.org/application/
Hope some of you can join!
Nick
