Collin,
My statements about the facts of the case of WikiLeaks and Jacob Appelbaum aren't "innuendo" or "libel" as they are taken from his own public remarks and the press. It's legitimate to ask what the implications are for Tor and for all projects that see themselves as bravely undermining governments abroad as well as at home.
Arguments about privacy and security with the taxpayers' money affecting all of society cannot exclusively take place "amongst a cohort of peers". You've introduced words like "lackeys," not me -- I've raised the question about how this contradiction can continue, and whether policy and planning officials in the State Department will ultimately find the contradiction too grave, or the *perception* of fundamental conflicts of interest too severe, to continue support.
My concerns are normal, and my expression of them legitimate.
