*Interested in human rights? Ever wondered what it’s like to be the
subject of a major human rights fact-finding mission?*
The International Human Rights and Conflict Resolution Clinic at Stanford
Law School <http://www.law.stanford.edu/program/clinics/ihrcr/> is staging
a simulated human rights fact-finding mission in Hidden Villa Farm in Los
Altos Hills on *Thursday April 19th** from 1:00pm-6:00pm and Friday April
20th from 8- 1 pm. *
**
If you are available for any window of time on those days, we'd love to
have you join us!
The purpose of the simulation is to teach law students in the clinic how to
conduct themselves in the field while gathering information about alleged
human rights abuses. We are looking for actors (*no experience necessary*!) to
play various roles in the simulation – victims of human trafficking,
overwhelmed UN officials, corrupt politicians, soldiers, civilian
bystanders, etc. – and to provide us and our students with critical
feedback about interviewing strategies you observed as being either
effective or ineffective. Transportation, light snacks, and refreshments
will be supplied. If interested, please contact *Natalie Goodis *at *
njgoodis at law.stanford.edu. *
