[liberationtech] Contact Summit

Perhaps members of this list (this guy included!) could help facilitate
free and open means to participate in the event online, and can
help/push the organizers to build around a multi-faceted participatory
model. If we cannot gain traction on that front, perhaps a simultaneous
online convergence is called for.

Beyond the cost of the conference admission, travel and lodging costs
create a high barrier to participation for many... and this community
using the tools we have today to theorize the tools for tomorrow seems
apropos.

As someone who had to bail on the muffled audio of the iTownHall even
last night, this is clearly not as technically trivial as it may seem so
will take some energy to get right.

I will be abroad at the time of the conference, but am very interested
in participating, so am admittedly scratching my own itch here. :-)

Best,

Jonah Silas Sheridan
