[liberationtech] An Open Letter to Congress re. Internet Freedom Funds to the BBG

Hello, LibTechers - we are writing an Open Letter to Congress to advocate for keeping Internet Freedom Funds with DRL instead of moving them over to the BBG (which runs, among other things, the Voice of America.  This would be a very dumb move prompted by heavy lobbying by Falung Gong groups and their allies (Anette Lantos, etc), in my book. 

We like there to be a few more signatories than just us and we need some help making a more cogent and punchy argument. If you are interested in contributing to this letter and/or signing it  (we are using etherpad for collab) let me know and I'll send you the link. This is urgent, and we are hoping to wrap up a draft by sometime tonight to circulate tomorrow for additional signers.
