Dear Friends,

This is my honored to be a member of this useful professional networking
site.I would like to draw your kind attention to the information that we are
working in the field of ICT based education in the urban and semi-urban
areas. We have set up internet enabled computer learning centers at the
school premises of 20 districts in Bangladesh to serve the ICT based
educational services with the collaboration of students, teachers and
interestingly community people are also benefiting from the resources of
ICT. I am so excited to share with you that rural schools have made school
based digital studio which is largely alleviating the sufferings of the
rural people because earlier they were used to travel several kilometers
away to take color photo and fulfill their needs.Besides, schools are also
affording the maintenance costs of the computer centers with ICT based
income generating options.

But there are lots of rural schools which are hard to reach and devoid of
getting such type of services. The govt is providing ICT facilities in the
schools which are inadequate in compared to the needs. We have personally
visited these schools and researched on the needs and commitments of the
community. The community people including local decision makers expressed
their profound needs of Internet facilities at the Secondary Level Schools
which will serve the needs of the whole community and once a well-equipped
computer lab is established in the rural area, the recurring costs and other
maintenance would be conveyed by the school fund and the alternative income
generating funds through the use of ICT.

*I therefore earnestly appeal to everyone to muse over the critical issues
and stretch your hand to meet the needs of the rural people. It would be
still benevolent if reconditioned computers are available and can be donated
to these schools because i know there are lots of companies/banks dispose
computers after 1/2 years which might be distributed as a sense of corporate
social responsibility.*

I would be glad to contacted if you need any further clarifications or
information

Thanks
Md.Faruque
