Subject: [liberationtech] THIS MONDAY: SIG lunch with Francis Fukuyama on democracy and development
Hey all,
This Monday, January 17, in Old Union Room 200, Stanford in Government will be hosting a policy lunch with Dr. Francis Fukuyama, currently the Olivier Nomellini Senior Fellow at the Freeman Spogli Institute and the Center for Democracy, Development and the Rule of Law, and a leading scholar on democratization and development. He comes to Stanford from the Paul H. Nitze School for Advanced International Studies of John Hopkins University.
Food will be provided. Please RSVP to zkarlin at stanford.edu. I know it's MLK Day and there's no class, but this promises to be a great discussion with a leading thinker in the field. Hope to see you there!
