[liberationtech] Avaaz: Blackout-proof the protests

I'd be really interested in whether groups have tried to distribute small fm
radio transmitters.

Also, I recall a number of years ago running into stories about satellite
radios in africa with usb plugs that could send one-way data downstream
(health info).

So imagine combining the two with near-live produce and send audio files for
small scale broadcast.
