[liberationtech] Reports that net shutdown in Libya

Hey all, unconfirmed reports coming in that Gaddafi has shut down the net in
Libya.  I have two questions:

1) How can one confirm the reports?
2) If reports are true, is there any link with user friendly easy to use
info on how to set up mesh nets via satellite, as was done in Egypt?
