[liberationtech] NYT: Eben Moglen Is Reshaping Internet

ZDNET just published an article on the Freedom Box and Eben Logan (As I
wrote this I realized he replied to thread).

It explains it pretty good, I don't quite know if PogoPlug would count...I
don't think it has the peer to peer capabilities
to route traffic through other Pogo Plugs.  But the article gives some
examples for sale now...good prices.
Such plug-in servers are already shipping. They include the
TonidoPlug<http://www.tonidoplug.com/> ($99),
theSheevaPlug <http://www.openplug.org/> ($99), and
GuruPlug<http://www.globalscaletechnologies.com/c-4-guruplugs.aspx>
 ($129).

I think my only current qualm would be the wifi, but I guess since they all
have usb....gotta get that dongle.
