We would like to invite you to an inspiring two-day workshop about social
innovation and social business organized by ITP, Tisch School of the Arts at
NYU in collaboration with The Grameen Creative Lab.
This unique event takes place *September 17 and 18 at ITP *and brings
together leading technologists, representatives from NGO's, international
development experts, industry professionals, academics and practitioners in
order to explore approaches to development, share perspectives and best
practices, and develop concrete social business ideas.
The 2-day event will begin with a series of short talks the morning of

17*, followed by a facilitated workshop where participants will engage in a
conversation on social innovation and the tools and models that can activate
and support change.

Entrepreneurship
Ewa Wojkowska and Toshi Nakamura, Founders, Kopernik
Jennifer P. Holt, Deputy Director, Peace Dividend Trust
On Sunday *September 18, *participants will explore the concept of social
business, and develop their own social business ideas in highly interactive
breakout sessions. As one of the highlights, Nobel Peace Prize Laureate *Prof.
Muhammad Yunus *will close the event and give his feedback to the generated
ideas.
The participant fee for the event is $250, with a reduced rate of $95 for
students.
