I didn't mean this discussion to turn into an iOS vs Android debate, nor
did intent to be overly critical of Frank's original statement. I just
tend to have a passionate, automated reaction to statement about mobile
technology that are all gloom, doom and FUD.

As Moxie pointed out, there are complex layers of threat here, both on
the device and within the network, and I defer to him and others when
they say iOS is more secure from a software/hardware exploit (aka "% of
code in that OS that is sh*t") standpoint.

My choice to focus on Android just comes down to a choice about what I
feel is the best platform for my work, and for people engaged in human
rights and activism, and I will continue to defend that standpoint
through as accurate of statements backed by my own research and software
development, as I can. Thanks for keeping me honest!

Best,
 Nathan
