Well, one effect is that the boycotts against BP and Target just got some
free publicity and Facebook now has another PR fire to douse.  Haven't they
heard of the Streisand Effect?

This is not the first report of Facebook taking a stand against contentious
political groups.  There was a
report<http://gawker.com/5596192/why-is-facebook-blocking-the-word-palestinian-in-page-titles>earlier
this year of Facebook blocking new pages with the word "Palestine"
in them.

Also, shoot-out to Jillian York, who was quoted in the article and is on
this list!
