I am a Phd Candidate at the University Newcastle Australia,  looking at how
people / citizen can map local communities with mobile phones to describe
issues of concern etc. This information is then linked to other GIS
information to try and contextualise there reports.

My thesis in particular looking a people with disabilities mapping local
communities to describe access within built environment. Beta test site at
