Robert McChesney is Gutgsell Endowed Professor in the Department of 
Communication at the University of Illinois. He is the president and 
co-founder of Free Press, a national media reform organization.

Washington correspondent. Together with Robert McChesney, Nichols is one 
of the co-founders of Free Press.
