Christian Bason leads MindLab in Copenhagen, with a mission to involve
citizens and the business community directly in the development of new
public policy and services. He will highlight some key approaches and
insights -- against the backdrop of the financial crisis, a new
demographic structure, climate change, and (perhaps) a whole new role
for the public sector.
Here's our PROGRAM for Tuesday:
5:00 - Introductory videos: “Thanks, and Have Fun Running the Country:
Kids' Letters to President Obama” & "Denmark: The Happiest Place on
Earth."
5:05 - A thought starter from Holly Bybee, of the Transformation
Practice at IDEO.
5:15 - Christian Bason's talk, titled "Friendly Government: Or, How
Citizen-Centered Innovation Can Transform the Public Sector."
5:50 - Discussion.
This Know How Talk will be on Tuesday March 10th at 5:00 pm
in IDEO's Palo Alto cafe next to our lobby at 100 Forest.
(Enter from the alley between Alma St and High St.)
The talks are open to the public. No need to RSVP.
