[IGF-DAIG] CPDP LatAm + AI Safety from the Global Majority

Dear colleagues,
In case you are interested, this week, FGV Law School Rio will host CPDP LatAm<https://cpdp.lat/programme-2025/>, the leading conference on data governance, privacy, and technology in Latin America.
The central theme of CPDP LatAm 2025 will be: “Data Governance for Development and Democracy in the Global Majority.” The main conference will take place on July 16 and 17, followed by a side event on July 18 focused on “AI safety from the Global Majority,” expanding the conversation on artificial intelligence governance, risks and benefits, from the perspectives of the Global South.
The event will bring together experts from governments, the private sector, academia, and civil society to discuss the challenges and opportunities in both regional and global contexts. Here is the final programme  https://cpdp.lat/programme-2025/
