[IGF-DAIG] CPDP LatAm 2025 + AI Safety

Dear colleagues,
In case you are interested, CPDP LatAm 2025 will take place on July 16 and 17 at FGV Law School Rio de Janeiro, and will be dedicated to Data Governance for Development and Democracy in the Global Majority. On July 18, the conference will be followed by a one-day event dedicated to AI Safety. https://cpdp.lat/
As you might already know, CPDP LatAm is the leading conference exploring the intersection between data governance, privacy and digital technologies in Latin America. In 2025 our geographic scope will be enlarged, taking advantage of the Brazilian presidency of the BRICS, which is including a growing number of global majority countries as members (https://www.gov.br/planalto/en/latest-news/2025/01/brazil-announces-indonesia-as-full-member-of-brics ) or partner countries (www.brics.br<http://www.brics.br>), thus raising important question regarding the relationship between data protection, information security, democracy and development.
