[IGF-DAIG] Discussing the Annual DAIG Output

Dear colleagues, dear friends,



This email is o start a conversation about this year’s output of the DAIG coalition, to be presented at the IGF in December.



I had many bilateral conversations with group members and a recurrent issue is the need for further insight into Global South initiatives related to data and AI governance.



We have several months ahead of us before the IGF and we could organise a call for contributions to elaborate a joint paper/booklet on AI and Data Governance from the Global South. The contributions should not necessarily be papers, but can be very short essays (600 -1200 words) briefly presenting specific initiatives e.g. regulatory frameworks, industrial policies, multistakeholder partnerships, etc.
