*** Waitlist Reminder ***
We reached maximum capacity in only 4 weeks! This is a first time for
us, and we are completely humbled by the response. As always, we are so
grateful that you’ve dedicated your time and energy to creating this
community with us.
Two important notes regarding registration:
1) You can still sign up for our waitlist. We will be inviting new
registrations on a rolling basis.
2) Please let the IFF team know ASAP if you registered but cannot
attend. We have so many folks on our waitlist, and this will ensure that
they can attend. (Of course, we’ll miss you!)

***Safer Space Series: Inclusion Doesn’t Mean Inclusion For Everyone***
“It is more than okay to tell someone who is not following your Code of
Conduct or cultural guidelines that they are not welcomed in your space.
This is why being clear about what is expected is crucial. And not all
cases will be the same. Some actions brought to your attention will be
incredibly serious, while others can be rectified with a quick
conversation. When you are dealing with a big group of people, you have
to be prepared for anything and everything.”

***Safer Space Series: Listen and Believe Your Community Members***
To create safer spaces, one of the most important things organizers need
to do is create feedback loops to engage the various communities we
serve. Each individual comes with a completely unique mix of
experiences, cultural background, and psychology. When we listen, we
become more educated on how to best serve our members, and how to make
them safer.
