****Introducing the **IFF Diversity & Inclusion Team***
*We're very excited to announce the addition of two awesome individuals
to the IFF team - *Gaba Rodriguez*, lead IFF Facilitator, and *Valerie
Aurora*, lead IFF Diversity Advisor! Together, Gaba and Val form our
core Diversity & Inclusion team.

Over the coming months, both before and during the IFF, they will be
leading efforts to improve and support our code of conduct, ensure more
inclusive sessions with greater diversity of voice, create a safe space
for conflict resolution, and encourage an overall positive, inclusive
and respectful atmosphere for the IFF.

**IFF History, Goals, and 10 Guiding Principles*
*Challenges to digital rights and online freedom expression have
increased in reach and complexity, and so have the communities of
practice which have grown and organized to address them.
Since its beginning as the Circumvention Tech Festival in 2015, the
Internet Freedom Festival (IFF) has grown into one of the largest, most
diverse and inclusive gatherings in the Internet Freedom community.

Check out the latest addition to the IFF website, which details the
festival's *history, goals, and its 10 Guiding Principles*:
